The “Ruthenia” society was founded on 3 January 2013 in Riga (Republic of Latvia). It is a non-governmental, non-commercial and non-political organisation.
The main objectives of the activities of the “Ruthenia” society are research, preservation and promotion of the cultural, historical, local and linguistic heritage of Latvia and Latvians.
The Chairman of the Board of the “Ruthenia” society is Alexander Rzhavin.
